How much do you think it would be to start a paintball arena on open, empty land?

A little idea I had was set up sort of a street so how much would construction be, the whole thing. An estimate please.

ThanksHow much do you think it would be to start a paintball arena on open, empty land?
Well, land, taxes on the land, small business license, and insurance would be your biggest costs. Most paintball places I've been to have built everything from scrap lumber trash-picked and old wooden pallets. How much do you think it would be to start a paintball arena on open, empty land?
wat i would do for the street is make it out of dirt, u can do u that by digging up grass. If u own a shovel then the roads free, if not about 10$. u would also have 2 make bunkers and cover which could be made with tires wood and other stable strong stuff. u could lookk in junkyards and around ur house for cover trees would also work. i would also go 2 a home depot to get more equipment. all that- around 50$. u would then have 2 make a shack or something to keep rentals and other stuff. - around 200$. finally u would need rentals, co2 and compressed air, and paintballs- prob around 1000How much do you think it would be to start a paintball arena on open, empty land?
Depends on how you want to construct it.

If you wanted a paved road that would impact things greatly. Maybe try gravel.

If you wanted to put up just the face of buildings kind of like a hollywood set it would be cheaper than building whole structures.

Will you have cars on the street? If so you would need to find some at your local junkyard.

How long would the street be?

Check sites like Craigslist and pick up cheap/free materials when available to save some cash.

It might take a while to get it done that way though.

How do i put a password onto my wireless internet connection?

I have a Netgear router which connects to a USB stick in my computer. I have recently discovered that this is %26quot;open%26quot; and neighbours can access the internet via this. How do I password protect it?

Its all set up and working well so I dont want to uninstall and then set it up again. Is there not an easier way? Just from the main menu?

ThanksHow do i put a password onto my wireless internet connection?
Wait so on a USB stick? Hmm I don't really know... but have you tried 192.162.1.1 or 192.162.1.2 as a link, while connected to the internet and the username and pass is admin? How do i put a password onto my wireless internet connection?
Connect to your router, either by a cable or using your wireless connection. (if you are using the internet through it, then you are connected.)

For netgear go to your internet browser and type in %26quot;192.168.1.1%26quot;.

Type in the username/password. Which is probably either admin/pass or administrator/password. (It usually says the default name/pass on the side of the router.)

On mine, it says %26quot;Wireless settings, then under %26quot;Security Encryption (WEP) key%26quot; you type in the passphrase and generate one, or you can type one in. If you type it in, it needs to be the correct length and I believe it only uses numbers. Ours is a 10 digit key.

Subject: Bill Gates Speech at a High School..

Here is some advice Bill Gates gave some high school graduates and

love him or hate him; he hits the nail on the head with this!

The World's Richest Man, Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High

School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talked

about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of

kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure

in the real world. Here is what he said...

    Bill Gates' High School Address

Rule 1: Life is not fair -- get used to it!

Rule 2: The world will not really care about your self-esteem. The

world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about

    yourself.

Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school.

You will not be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait until you get a

    boss.

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your

grandparents had a different word for burger flipping -- they called it

    opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it is not your parents' fault, so do not

whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents were not as boring as

they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your

clothes, and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So

before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's

generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but

Life, HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades

and they will give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer.

This does not bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You do not get summers

off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that

    on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life, people actually

have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you will end up working for one.

%26gt; %26gt; If you agree, pass it on.

%26gt; %26gt; If you can read this - thank a teacher!

%26gt; %26gt; If you are reading it in English - thank a soldier!

%26gt; %26gt; If you live in America, thank GOD.%26quot;What do you think about the following advice from Bill Gates?

This is the same jackass who got nailed in the face with a pie and started squirming on the floor! And so he preaches life and dignity....lol

Unfortunately, Gates feels the kids do not acknowlege that school and when you get out of school are different. He is also giving hints of his personal problems he had when growing up. Personally I'm more of a Lennox guy, not microsoft!lol

How many miles will I walk?

Hey, I'm 18 years old, fairly fit, and I'm about to take part in an expedition around August. The temperature will be about 25 on a good day, and as low as 17 on a bad day (celcius). I'd be carrying a small bag, maybe 15-20lbs, plus a tent which i would carry half the time, my buddy the other half. Taking into account, breaks,, and setting up camp etc, how many miles approximately could a person walk in a day taking in all these factors into accout? How many miles will I walk?
    honestly its a matter of determanation, ive seen people go for a lil then i seen others go forever, so its really up to you%26gt;

goodluckHow many miles will I walk?
average person's walking pace ~3.5 miles per hour.

    12 hours walking = 42 miles.

If you spammed it, no stops, dawn till dusk power-walking, you could cover over 50 miles.

You don't want to set up camp in the dark and you will want to stop to eat and rest, so about 40

Accessing http://192.168.1.1 on setting my router password gives me a strange result?

I'm trying to set up a password for my linksys wireless router, but when i put http://192.168.1.1/ in the address bar, and after putting admin as username and password, the site it gives me is blank (there's no text, links, images etc) except the boxes to insert information is still there. The page is blank violet/blue and there is no links I can click or button on the page. How do I fix this so the page comes out right? Thanks in advanced.Accessing http://192.168.1.1 on setting my router password gives me a strange result?
You could reset your router to default by pressing the reboot switch on the router that would put everything back to normal. Which would mean setting the router back up again.Accessing http://192.168.1.1 on setting my router password gives me a strange result?
You can reset your router back to factory defaults. To do this, on the back side of the router you can find a small whole. It's just big enough to get a paper clip, push pin, or tooth pic through. The reset button is recessed in the back of the router and through that hole. Using a paper clip or whatever you can find that will fit through the hole, insert it until it stops. Then give it a little push. If you feel a click and/or the object you are poking with moves and stops, you've found the reset button. HOLD IT IN! After a few seconds, all of the lights on the modem should start to flash. When they stop flashing, release the reset button. If you continue to have the problem that brought you to Yahoo Answers, when the blank page appears and you see the violet and blue, trying typing in these addresses...

    http://192.168.1.1/StaRouter.htm

    http://192.168.1.1/Filters.htm

These are pretty common pages within the web interface of a Linksys router. I have no explanation why, but perhaps after enter your log on credentials, the router is directed to a page that contains no information or does not exist, but by default, the router creates the color scheme. Having said that, trying the above common URL's, perhaps one of them will load normally and with links so that you can navigate and manually configure.

    LinkSys Router Setup

Physical Setup of a LinkSys Router:

Even though the different models of LinkSys routers may differ, the general design for setup is very similar for all of them.

    1. Attach the antennas to the router (for wireless routers).

    2. Plug the Ethernet cable from your broadband Internet provider’s modem into the port labeled “Internet” or “WAN” on the Router.

(Note: The “Internet” and other ports are usually located at the back of the Router)

    3. Plug another Ethernet cable into one of the available ports (usually numbered 1,2,3,4, etc.).

    4. Then plug the other end of this cable into an Ethernet port on your PC.

    LinkSys Router Configuration

LinkSys routers now ship with a Setup Wizard which is intended to simplfy basic configuration tasks.

We do not recommend the LinkSys Setup Wizard for two reasons:

    * The Setup Wizard is not significantly easier than the regular configuration menus

    * If you use the Setup Wizard, you will end up learning two interfaces for your LinkSys router instead of just one

The best course of action would be to open your web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and enter the following URL: http://192.168.1.1/

You will now be prompted to enter your Username and Password.

Logging in to a Linksys Router

Leave the Username field blank and enter your Router’s password (the default password is %26quot;admin%26quot;).

Once you are past the login screen, you have access to (and can change) a plethora of configuration options for your router.

Don't be worried by the enormous number and variety of options, your LinkSys router ships with default settings that enable it to work right out of the box in most environments.

From here the configuration options that you choose are largely up to your own personal preference.

If this is a wireless router, we recommend that you consider setting an SSID to identify the router as your own and configuring WEP to encrypt your wireless traffic.Accessing http://192.168.1.1 on setting my router password gives me a strange result?
there is a reset button on the router. some are tiny and require a pin. look on the back of the router for the button

That will reset the router to factory default settings.

Once the router has rebooted; login to the home page and reset your ssid and password
