I am going to have a paris themed sweet 16 i need ideas?

can u like give me ideas on how to set it up, games, dressing etcI am going to have a paris themed sweet 16 i need ideas?
Three cute color combos perfect for a Paris theme party are:

* Pink, black and white

* Dark brown and pink

* Dark brown, cream and french blue

A potted, green topiary centerpiece would look sweet and pretty at each table. You can purchase them already made or make your own. Add a satin bow or pretty toile ribbon to its trunk. Choose flowers and ribbons that match the color combo that you have chosen for your Paris themed sweet 16 party. Choose party favors with a French theme like the Eiffel Tower and fleur de lis symbol and use them as part of your tabletop decor.

A rose topiary makes a pretty tabletop centerpiece.

Consider buying or renting a tabletop fountain for your paris party. This would make a wonderful focal point in the room. France is famous for its beautiful fountains. If you want a fountain that is multi-functional, you could rent or buy a chocolate fountain or beverage fountain (also called a champagne fountain). Another option would be to rent or borrow a beautiful outdoor fountain. You don’t have to turn the water on. It will look beautiful on its own if it is ornate and tiered. You could add pretty potted flowers or strewn flowers and ivy on each tier of the fountain.

Paris is nicknamed the “city of lights.” Play that up in your Parisian theme party decor. Add multiple votive candles at each table. String small tree lights around the room. Place two lighted topiary trees at the entrance of the party room. Decorate the topiary with ribbon, bows and flowers. Hang paned or scrolled mirrors on the dining room walls so it will catch and reflect even more light in the room. Lamp posts would also look lovely and match the French theme party.

The dinner tables should be dressed in beautiful tablecloths and napkins. Use real china and silverware. Drink from fluted glasses or crystal goblets. You can dress up folded napkins with pretty satin or velvet ribbons that coordinate with the color scheme you have chosen for your Paris themed sweet 16 party. Tablecloths and napkins don’t have to be white and plain. Think about pretty patterns like toile and damask. Wrought iron patio chairs would would add to the pretty outdoor French cafe in the park atmosphere. Details like this increase the “ooh la la” factor of your spring in Paris party.

FOOD:

Open a box of See’s or Whitman’s Sampler chocolates and place them on silver platters. The French love their chocolate. Cubed cheese, grapes and baskets of bread would also seem very French and Parisian. Serve crepes, baguettes and petit fours. Decorate the tabletops with Parisian themed party favors. Choose party favors with an Eiffel Tower or fleur de lis symbol on them. Match your party invitations and decorations with the same Parisian motif. Look for Eiffel tower invitations and invites with damask and toile patterns.

Make your own look chic and casually sophisticated (think Audrey Hepburn)...looking good without trying too hard :D.

ACTIVITIES:

Consider hiring an artist to set up an easel and draw what he or she sees going on at the party. Paris is known for its street artists. Think about hiring a local art student to save on costs.( To play on this idea...the game Pictionary where you have to draw would fit in with this theme).

Ask your guests arrive in wool berets and scarves. Have a contest for the best dressed, or most authentically French! Also...look up some French Trivia and have guests answer questions--the one who gets the most right wins (think up some really good interesting things...look on the web for the facts).I am going to have a paris themed sweet 16 i need ideas?
nightvision camera and a cell phone...... oh wait, you probably meant the city.. oh well, I stand by it.
