How to change the setting on my computer to remove unwanted searches?

I have a dell inspiron 1721 labtop. I have previously saved pictures on my computer and deleted them because I know longer want them. I have a lot of pictures and when I search for certain ones I get old ones I deleted and no longer want to see. Is there a way to change the setting under my pictures so I do not get those old, deleted pictures to appear when I search for other pictures? If anyone knows please help me it drives me crazy!How to change the setting on my computer to remove unwanted searches?
Try Spy-bot. After it scans your hard drive, it gives you the option to erase old histories. And it checks for spyware! Can't beat that :)
