To do this, on the back side of the router you can find a small whole. It's just big enough to get a paper clip, push pin, or tooth pic through. The reset button is recessed in the back of the router and through that hole. Using a paper clip or whatever you can find that will fit through the hole, insert it until it stops. Then give it a little push. If you feel a click and/or the object you are poking with moves and stops, you've found the reset button. HOLD IT IN! After a few seconds, all of the lights on the modem should start to flash. When they stop flashing, release the reset button. Because we live right in front of a house they came from there and they made holes in our roof and dwell up in the attic, Or some other places. Yeah we'll we tried to call animal control but they said they won't take it away until you catch it yourself in n a cage those bastards.

So we called someone who does this he catches raccoons and stuff, BUT hes a lazy fat *** and all he doesn't do his job right he keeps making us call him over and over and pay him hes like LEECHING OFF US. I Thought maybe to leave out food without a trap and put some type of sleeping pills in it and camp out and see if it knocks out then put it into the cage--But I Don't think that will work.

.ANY SUGGESTIONS? Please? How to get rid of Raccoons yourself?
It sounds like the raccoons are smarter than the person you hired to get rid of them. You said you've tried traps, but I would still try it again just in case you have more than one raccoon. This time you might want to cover the cage in brush or just use a blanket. I'm surprised you said it was illegal to kill raccoons. You mentioned that they were living in your attic, so you really need to seal the holes before you do anything else. If they're always up there during the day, you could try to go by a home improvement store or a place that sells farming supplies. There are this trap passage ways that are designed so that the animal can exit through them, but they can't return back inside. I know they make them for squirrels, but they may come in larger sizes as well. Of course, there's always animal repellent, but you could also try putting hot sauce in a spray bottle. How to get rid of Raccoons yourself?
My suggestion is to buy a dog. They can smell the dog, and they know its a predator, so they should stay clear. How to get rid of Raccoons yourself?
HI

You can use the following ideas- go for dogs, animal repellents, animal sprays etc.Natachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15205794725184945122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1348645112423962073.post-69832270362607692042011-09-22T21:07:00.000-07:002011-09-22T21:07:03.652-07:00How do I set an eBay item to buy only?I'm trying to sell my first item on eBay, but when it comes to the selling price, it list a bid option and a buy only option. How does the actual barometric pressure reading given relate to pressure altitude, is it the same thing? Can you figure out pressure altitude without using the altimeter setting in a plane? I'm missing something and just can't seem to get it straight. How can you determine pressure altitude without setting the altimeter?
First, pressure altitude is used as an indicator for atmospheric pressure. As you probably know this and temp are used to calculate aircraft performance. If you want to know the pressure altitude without being in the plane or you just don't want to set it in the Kollsman window, then do the following: 1. Request the local barometric altimeter setting, let's say it's 28.00 %26quot;Hg.

2. Take 29.92 %26quot;Hg (standard atmosphere) and substract minus the 28.00%26quot;Hg. (29.92%26quot;Hg-28.00%26quot;Hg=1.92%26quot;Hg)

3. 1.92%26quot;Hg is the difference in pressure.

4. Take into account that each inch is worth 1000 ft.

5. Multiply 1.92%26quot;Hg X 1,000= 1,920 ft

6. The barometric setting (28.00) was less then 29.92, so we substract (we'd add if it was greater)1,920 from the present altitude of the aircraft.

7. Let's say we're at 10,000 ft;10,000-1,920=8,080 ft

8. 8,080 is your pressure altitude!!!

But what does this mean??

It means that on a standard day (15C-29.92 %26quot;Hg pres), you being at 10,000, really feels like 8,080 to the aircraft in regards to performance. It's basically just a way to put pressure into performace computations. I hope this answers it. Pressure altitude setting, 29.92%26quot;Hg is also used by aircraft above 18,000 ft at all times to provide aircraft separation. How can you determine pressure altitude without setting the altimeter?
You can truly get better mileage...... http://carwaterguide.blogspot.com
Report Abuse
How can you determine pressure altitude without setting the altimeter?
The actual barometric pressure given directly correlates to the pressure altitude. Let's say you are at an airport you know is 1000ft MSL (mean sea level). That is, it is 1000' above sea level. If the current baro setting is 29.92, then pressure altitude is 1000' . Anything less than 29.92 will equal a pressure altitude HIGHER than the original 1000' and any baro setting above 29.92 will equal a lower pressure altitude. There are math tricks like the one posted above or there are charts that will give you an exact answer. So, by setting the planes altimeter to 29.92 you will get the current pressure altitude, within limits of the altimeter's accuracy. How can you determine pressure altitude without setting the altimeter?
Pressure altitude refers to the altitude recorded at standard atmospheric pressure, 29.92 hg. So setting your altimiter to that reading in the kolsman window will give you the altitude if it were a standard day or pressure altitude. A standard day is an atmospheric pressure of 29.92 hg at 15 degrees celcius at sea level with a -2 degree lapse rate per one thousand feet. How can you determine pressure altitude without setting the altimeter?
Here's an illustration - You are standing at sea level holding a barometer in your hand, it reads 29.92, then where you are standing would be considered standard pressure zero foot altitude at sea level. For every 0.10 change from 29.92 would equal a 100 foot difference from sea level in this example; so if the pressure on your barometer read 30.02 then your sea level pressure altitude would be 100 feet above the ground.Natachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15205794725184945122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1348645112423962073.post-79020104871194108752011-09-22T21:06:00.002-07:002011-09-22T21:06:17.471-07:00How does the Setting of a story affect the Mood? How does the setting of a story contribute to the overall mood, feeling, lesson, and theme? Not asking you to write my paper, lol, just need something to get my noggin going. Mainly how does the setting affect the mood? How does the Setting of a story affect the Mood?
Depending on how you describe a landscape, you evoke a very different feeling - from a desolate moor compared to open, rolling, sunlit hills, for example. If nature or society take a more direct role in your story, it could affect the lesson, depending on how the different characters handle the different obstacles throw their way by the environment. How does the Setting of a story affect the Mood?
The setting affects the mood by creating a setting that reflects the mood. like a dark run-down castle will create a creepy mood while a bright sun filled meadow with birds and baby bunnies creates a cheerful happy mood. How does the Setting of a story affect the Mood?
Take a famous scene, like the restaurant-fake-O bit from %26quot;When Harry met Sally%26quot;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-bsf2x-a

It's innocent fun in a safe setting.

Now try to imagine the same actors with the same script

set in the dining hall at some federal prison.

http://iarchives.nysed.gov/PubImageWeb/v

The scene would fill the viewer with trepidation and fear for Meg Ryan's safety,

because we know the bit would end with all the other tables announcing,

%26quot;We'll have what he's having. For example, a crime or a women about to go cheat on her husband. Then it is less likely to happen in a setting that is during summer time out on the beach. The author would most likely make it happen in a dark alley on a cold, damp rainy day or a dark, empty house on an isolated hill. It creates anticipation in the reader and suspense and an overall dramatic affect.

Also the author would describe the houses and the pedestrians and the weather around as dull, grimey, gloomy etc etcHow does the Setting of a story affect the Mood?
Try www.storyjoin.com It allows you to collaborate with other members and write stories together.Natachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15205794725184945122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1348645112423962073.post-74097583146969903722011-09-22T21:06:00.001-07:002011-09-22T21:06:12.330-07:00How do I change IPod setting from manual to autosync? At the time of set up, I have set IPod for manual addition of music files.

How do I change the setting to automatic sync? How do I change IPod setting from manual to autosync?
Plug your iPod into your computer and start up iTunes, click your ipod on the left panel and there will be tickboxes at the bottom, check the one that says %26quot;Automatically Sync my iPod when I connect it%26quot;How do I change IPod setting from manual to autosync?
When you have it connected to iTunes, you should be able to bring up a menu for it that will have a few checkboxes, one of which is something along the lines of %26quot;Manually Manage Music.%26quot;. Can anybody give me a simple step by step guide to setting up my Camera ( it's the 6MXL version ). Yes, it's easy to say look at the manual, but I'm slow to say the least. In the store they were not exactly helpful as I would have liked. Nevertheless, my previous requests have not fallen on deaf ears. Many thanks in advance !Info on how to take photos in low light conditions with a Canon Powershot S3 IS?
Get the details about your camera here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons3i

This is a so-called bridge camera that falls between a point-and-shoot and an SLR. It has better optics than a point-and-shoot, but the sensor is just as small. Canon packed 6 million pixels on it, which pretty much guarantees that it will be compromised in low light. All cameras with small sensor are poor performers in low light. This one is no exception. You need high ISO, low shutter speed, and a wide aperture for low light shooting without a flash. With the flash, your subject must be within 13 feet. According to the review, the highest ISO of 800 produces results that are so noisy as to be useless. The widest aperture, F2.7 - F3.5, is okay, but not great for low light shots. If you use slow shutter speed, you will get blurring. Truly, if you want to do a lot of low light shooting, then you will need a digital SLR which will have a larger sensor.

I have issues with the bridge cameras. They are made to look like more capable SLRs, but they have the tiny sensors of point-and-shoots. Consequently, they're not much better for image quality. I am yet to be convinced that they're not just a marketing ploy.Natachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15205794725184945122noreply@blogger.com
