you clicked on the bottom were it says create new account ie your not trying to sign in to psn. you have to set up account from https://secure.eu.playstation.com/sign-i (Official ps3 website) not from the ps3 xmb. were it asks for email and password that's your email address and make up a password that you remember and no one else will know.
Ps Make sure you use a genuine email address as they send a link to your email if you ever forget your password.
