My mobo has an integrated sound card with a toslink output port but when I plug my toslink (fiber optic) cable into it and into my 5.1 dolby digital system it is not outputing sound BUT it will output sound through the direct ports (the phono ones)?
So how so I set my PC to output through the toslink port?How to output sound from my PC%26039;s toslink port?
Check the mobo's manufacturer website. Sometimes the drivers ship not being able to use toslink. Don't depend on windows update to make all drivers work. Also, update mobo bios.
