How would you reupholster a dining set chair that has piping on it?

My mom and I have been considering how to lighten up our living/ dining room, and I was thinking that it might be possible to reupholster our dining room chairs. They are antique wood and have cushioned seats. The seats don't have piping, but there is a back board on it that does have piping. How would you reupholster that? How would you reupholster a dining set chair that has piping on it?
You don't have to have piping. People who do this at home usually don't and it comes out fine. That the screws out so the seats come off and take off the old fabric. With a staple gun or tacks put on new fabric...

Google %26quot;recover chairs%26quot; and you'll see links to several youtube videos doing it. You can do this. Good Luck. SS
