I got myself a new 40%26quot; HDTV and 5.1 home cinema system. The home cinema system connects to the tv via 6 rca cables (3 red and 3 white). The tv doesn't have the 6 needed inputs so I was wondering if there is any other way to connect them.
Also. The home cinema system is currently connected and working to a dvd player with the 6 rca connections but is there a way to use the speakers for other things like normal tv or ps3 when it is set up this way?How to connect home cinema system to tv?
You need to be running the home theater system to the T.V. with an HDMI cable.The T.V. should have an audio out or the receiver should have audio in. You can hook up the ps3 to the T.V. with component cables. Then run the audio to the receiver. Then it is just setting it to the right inputs when you want to play the ps3. Same for the DVD player. Basically you want to hook up all your video to the T.V. and all the audio to the receiver.
