I am writing a novel and the setting would best be done at a public college. Do I need to get permission from the college to do so and if so, how do I go about getting it?If I want to use a public college as a setting for a novel, do i need permission?
It depends on if you are going to use the name of the college and the name of the teachers. If you are just using the floor plan or something like that than I don't think you need permission, but if you are using the name and the teachers, than yes.
