I`ve got Lg plasma 50PS3000. tried to connect today laptop through hdmi port. in my previous tv (samsung plasma) it used to work without a problem. but this time tv doesnt seem to see the connection. I wish to make my computer into a dual boot machine. It currently has Windows 7 Starter on it. I want to set it up so that I can boot either Ubuntu or Windows from the hard disk. I have read extensively on how to do this and understand partitioning etc.
However I have heard horror stories of people doing this and their entire Windows OS and files being deleted and I can't take this risk.
I've heard you can essentially make an image of your hard drive (with OS and files) so that if all goes wrong and the hard drive deletes these things you can restore it to the state it was when you made the image.
So my question is two part:
(1) How do I make this image of the entire Hard Drive.
(2) How could I restore the computer from this image if needs be.
I would be keeping the image on my 500GB external drive.How do i make an image of my computer so that i may restore it at a later date?

it's easy, I use Macrium Reflect Free Edition.
Install the program on Windows, create an image of whatever partition you want or the entire hard drive. You select where to save the image to (a separate partition or drive). You also will create a bootable cd which is what you use to restore images. Images can also be mounted as virtual drives so you can open files that are in them and copy files out of the image. For a free program Macrium is fantastic.
My only tip is to do a disk cleanup and defrag before creating an image, this will help reduce the size of the image. For an idea of image size, the image of my 12gb Vista is about 5gb. Imaging does not really reduce the size of files that are already basically compressed like videos and pics. And this is important with the free edition of Macrium, you can only restore the image to a partition that is the same size or larger than what was imaged. (I shrink partitions before imaging to avoid worrying about this and it also helps reduce the size of the image)

I have a Stagg Les Paul that goes out of tune like no other guitar I've ever owned before. I can tune it up and after playing a few notes it goes out, sometimes it'll stay in tune for a while but it's constantly needing to be retuned. What can I do to fix this problem? Besides changing strings.

High action can throw your intonation off, so this may be a factor. Before replacing the tuners, make sure your action is set properly and your intonation is correct. Then try a new set of strings, and when you wrap them around the tuning post, *lock* them as shown in this link: http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/strin If the strings aren't attached properly to the tuner, they can slip and cause tuning problems.
If you do decide to replace your tuners, don't buy cheap ones......that was the problem to begin with. You can replace them yourself, it's not difficult especially if you use the same style. When I compile I get a ClassNotFoundException.
What am I doing wrong??

I starting to draw now (im mediocre at best) and i want to know how important good supply's are.
Right now im using a 0.9 Led, Mechanical Pencil (its feels comfortable).
And sometimes I like to use Golf pencils (They're sharp, They feel comfortable in my hand, and since i cant erase with them, I end up going over bad lines which seems to help)

I'm 6'3 and i weigh in at just 150 pounds so Im a few pounds underweight. Limewire to iTunes configuration?
I own limewire and iTunes and I would like to be able to download songs from limewire and have them automatically appear in iTunes. My friend had it set up that way I would like the same thing.
Can you provide step-by-step instructions on how to set it up to do this? Detailed if it's not too much to ask.Limewire to iTunes configuration?

Right, I work in an store similar to John Lewis, where we sell fashion, furniture, homeware and so on.
However, my store manager seems to be an underlying problem, to both the employees and to the overall performance of the store.
The main issue is that she treats her employees like they have no other choice but to work here, therefore they can't quit, therefore she can be as harsh and as demeaning as she wishes. She prefers discipline rather than rewarding; she sets unrealistic and sometimes impossible targets onto the floor managers, causing them to stress; she doesn't actually get involved herself in the work, but merely chivvies lower employees along while sitting back and not getting involved with sales.
A perfect example of her behaviour was when my mum used to work there part time too (before she went back to university): She had a floor manager who was very kind and fair to all her employees, and generally kept the atmosphere going well. She got on with everyone and she was also a brilliant salesperson (she taught me in her last months there). However, she did not see eye to eye with my store manager, disagreeing with her work. Without a logical, unemotional basis to fire her over, my store manager instead pressed impossible targets onto her job, while harassing the employees on our floor to help push her to quit. Eventually, our old floor manager had no choice, but to quit, after working there for 30 years. She got a small sum of money, and was kicked out onto the street.
I once complained about this store manager, as she threatened to fire me if I didn't have a more positive attitude to my sales (I'm working on fashion, which is aimed at 50+ years, which I have no passion for, but, despite requests, I haven't been moved) but now she treats me with cold, indifferent body language, and I have actually heard her gossip about me behind my back.
Lots of my colleagues have subsequently quit because of her behaviour, and the atmosphere of the store is strained and tense.
I can't talk to her constructively as I believe she will use her emotional behaviour to intimidate me, as she has done to others before, and I have enough stress at work without that.

This is a no-win situation. This person is abusive and unless someone higher up sees her behavior there really isn't anything you can do except to stay out of her line of vision and under the radar, until you can transfer to another store or find another position. I know you feel you can do something to make her change - and I ask you to consider this: imagine standing in front of a bull and trying to talk to it reasonably. That is her behavior and nothing will change her behavior.
I've been in your situation and I took it and tried to manage with it. There were two incidents in my own experience where I blew up, even going so far as to bang my fist on a counter, after being pushed too far and to be honest, the mistreatment stopped. I don't know if that is something I recommend because it could be grounds for termination. Don't quit unless you have another position lined up.
Here's the thing, you can't let her position dictate the way she treats you - you can insist on being treated fairly. And you can talk with her and find out what you can do to do a better job. It could be, and this is only a suggestion, it could be that she thinks the only way to get people to do what she wants is to mistreat them. Try going to her and telling her that you would like to improve your skills and see if she will offer suggestions on how you may improve. Engage her, draw her into your role, ask her opinion. She expects everyone to jump, well if you don't, and you come closer, that is going to throw the game she plays out of what and it may change things. I would raise a grievance with her manager under the stores, bullying and harassment procedure. There are far too many people like this who get away with it because everyone is scared to lose their job. To set up an Xbox Live Account, you'll need either a wireless antenna for your 360(sold at local retailers), a router with a good IEEE 802.11n,a,g, or b(preferably n), and a good internet connection; or an Ethernet cable, internet modem(with an Ethernet port in the back) and of course a good internet connection. Ok, first you'll need to go to the menu and select %26quot;Connect to Xbox Live%26quot;, and it might say something like %26quot;Can't connect to Xbox Live%26quot;, this is a usual problem for some people, so don't worry. Next, what you want to do is where it says %26quot;Test Connection%26quot;, select it, and it will bring you to a new menu. (or you could just go to Network Settings under System Settings). How long is it safe to leave baby in swing?
My son is 8 weeks and some days he never wants to be put down! I have a two year old too and it is just not possible to hold him all the time. He will sleep in his swing with the vibrator on and it on the highest swing setting. How long can I leave him in there?
Also, would you let a 8 week old CIO? My husband thinks he just needs to cry sometimes but I can't handle it. It's one thing if I'm helping my daughter in the bathroom or in the shower but when I'm trying to do the dishes I can't just let him cry. It gives me the worst anxiety when he is screaming his head off.
One more thing...how do you de-stress, during the day and at the end of the day? I don't drink, so thats not an option.
